Sober Living

Sober living

At Charleston Recovery Center, we know that lasting recovery takes time, support, and the right environment. That’s why we offer our Sober Living Program, available exclusively to those who complete a minimum of 120 days in our inpatient program.

As Commenced Residents, individuals take the next step in their recovery journey by transitioning into a safe, structured, and uplifting community. Here, residents begin to rebuild their lives with a healthy balance of recovery, work, and personal responsibility—all while staying surrounded by the fellowship and accountability that makes sobriety possible.

Our sober living program is designed to provide a
gentle reintroduction to everyday life. Residents are encouraged to find employment, attend outside AA meetings, and strengthen their confidence as they step into independence. At the same time, they remain deeply connected to the CRC community through regular staff check-ins, required meeting attendance, leadership opportunities, and accountability with work hours.

We pride ourselves on offering more than just housing—this is a thriving recovery community where people continue to grow, heal, and support one another as they embrace their new way of life. At CRC, sober living isn’t just about staying sober—it’s about learning how to live fully, freely, and joyfully in recovery.
